Journey with Pineda in Vegas
well the reports are in. Journey successfully debuted their new lead singer, Arnel Pineda here in the U.S. After their first run of shows over in Chile a couple weeks ago, the legendary rock band played a private Las Vegas ReMax gig on March 6th and then rocked Planet Hollywood on March 8th.
interestingly, since they were recording the Planet Hollywood gig for a DVD release, the band had to re-do a couple of their songs at the end of their set. Fans were filing out of the concert hall when Neal Schon came back out and told fans to head back to their seats because they wanted to do their new song “Wildest Dreams” again. While they were at it, they also re-did “Faithfully”. as a thanks to the fans that stayed, the band performed “Lovin, Touchin, Squeezin”.

Journey also announced that their brand new studio album titled Revelations will be released through WalMart in June. The cool thing is that the live DVD (recorded at the Las Vegas show) will be included with the CD!
Journey will be touring the UK in June and will then join Heart and Cheap Trick for a summer package tour starting in July.
