on the road again…
ahh, the family road trip. It’s a rite of passage for every boy and girl to endure while growing up. I remember my dad having this love for driving long distances with his family in tow. and even though it may have been a bit tough being in the car all those hours out on the road, I do have some fond memories of visiting some interesting places all throughout the U.S.. you know, you can’t really get a good sense of this vast country of ours without having driven through it. and now, that I have children of my own, I’m just itching to rent a car and drive the family down to florida for a little get-away. or maybe a trip to chicago to show the kids where I grew up when I was their age. the possibilities are endless. the summer is almost upon us which would be the best time to round up the kids and explore this great nation of ours. yes, gas prices are at an all time high right now but car rental companies like Advantage.com are now offering deep discounts to their customers to offset some of the costs. I’m *so* ready for a vacation. what about you?
