As a long time Internet nerd, I’m in love with this video. I’m a little surprised that some YT celebs didn’t make it in (most notably Lonlygirl15 and the Chinese Backroom Boys), but its still a great video nonetheless. The amount of memes they were able to squeeze in there and still have it be a “good video” is astounding.
The song is also a nice return to the Weezer of old. Hopefully the rest of their new album sounds just as good.
My college aged son loves this video and made me watch it and being a pop culture junkie (I write the blog “Connect with your Teens through Pop Culture and Technology http://connectwithyourteens.blogspot.com/) I really did like it. I have to take the time to watch it again because I didn’t have the chance to take it all in but I love these type of things. Its funny because here my son was using pop culture to connect with me.
