The Fireman – Electric Arguments – to be released

October 1, 2008

I’ve always enjoyed Paul McCartney’s side projects like Twin Freaks and the Fireman. I suppose there are some expectations in terms of what one can deliver to fans when you’re as famous as “Paul McCartney”. So I totally understand the need for Sir Paul to work under a different moniker. The ambient tracks McCartney has done under his Fireman alias over the years have been adventurous and free from the confines of the three-minute pop song. And now McCartney is back with a new Fireman release titled Electric Arguments. Collaborating once again with producer Youth, Fireman aka McCartney will be releasing their third album together on November 17th through the ATO label in the U.S. and the U.K. indie label One LIttle Indian for the rest of the world.

Here’s the TrackList:
Nothing Too Much Just Out Of Sight
Two Magpies
Sing the Changes
Travelling Light
Highway
Light From Your Lighthouse
Sun Is Shining
Dance ‘Til We’re High
Lifelong Passion
Is This Love?
Lovers in a Dream
Universal Here, Everlasting Now
Don’t Stop Running

Check out Nothing Too Much Just Out of Sight which is probably the first Fireman release that features McCartney singing on it:
