It's a Lie by Fiction Plane

Today’s song of the day is It’s a Lie by Fiction Plane. I’m not sure why this song never really “took off” for the band. It has all the makings of a hit song. It features a driving, infectious rhythm, a big chorus, and of course, Joe Sumner singing his heart out and sounding very much like his ol’ man- Gordon Sumner aka Mr. tantric sex himself, Sting. The song effortlessly hooks you right in once you hear the line “but all I want to do is jump your bones and slam dance all night to the music of your moans!” Come on, how can you resist after hearing a line like that??? I guess “modern rock radio” doesn’t have the pull like it used to.
