Jim, I am glad that you enjoyed the concerts. I was unaware that it was Jon's choice(this time around) not to tour with the band. I only knew that he was ill last year and could not perform at that time.

Sorry but you are the loser in this. This is my second time to see them with Benoit David and in just a few months, he has really come along. The crowd was filled with old guys last night and no one was disappointed. The band has officially made him a member.

Asia was awesome too. Flew to Philly from Nashville to see them. Worth every penny. Jon's choice is his choice.

I am heartbroken that Jon Anderson will not be joining the rest of the group on this tour. I am shocked that the band members decided to tour without him. Of course everyone in the band is important, but I believe that Jon is the essence of YES. Without Jon the band is missing the heart of YES. It just wouldn't be the same without him, Therefore, out of respect for Jon, & YES music as a whole, I will not attend the concerts that are scheduled for this year. YES NEEDS JON ANDERSON - I quote Paul McCartney's song "Waterfalls"- "Like a second needs an hour, Like a garden needs a flower, yeah I need love, said I need love & it wouldn't be the same if you ever should decide to go away." I understand that there may be some underlying issues here that need to be worked out,but I hope that Jon continues to get stronger & in the future Jon is able to join the rest of YES for a tour. I would love to see them in concert as a whole. The energy is amazing. I reviewed the video of the new lead singer, Benoit on YouTube. He has a beautiful voice, but of course he is not Jon Anderson. I also wish Jon Good Luck on his European tour which I beliveve recently began! I definitely would be interested in seeing this concert. I am sure it would be interesting and enjoyable. Has anyone heard anything about it?

This will be a great show. Benoit did a great job when I saw him in November. I saw Asia two years ago - and although I wasn't a huge fan of the group, individually they are at the top of their game. As they were each doing a sample of their solo works, I had hoped Wetton would have done some UK instead of King Crimson. It's a shame Rick Wakeman is not involved in this. I"m sure Oliver is a good musician, but he's not at daddy's caliber, yet.
I'm also interested to see how many beers Chris Squire can drink without falling over....

Ok, Yes is a Big One ... in Progressive Rock ... Like Pink Floyd, Genesis, ELP and king Crimson ...

But ... ASIA IS THE BIG ALL ...

Cause, Wetton plus Howe plus Palmer plus Downes is the most VIRTUOSO Line-up ..

Still ... The Wetton's Voice/Bass is PERFECT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So, Asia is no a simple "guest", but the Perfect Partner for Yes Band !

Rock On from Brazil !!!!!

Vejo vocês + tarde !!!!!

huzzah! us fans have been waiting for this announcement for months. Great to know it's actually happening! gosh. I hope Steve Howe will have the stamina to go the distance being with both bands.
