Todd Rundgren’s Johnson Webcast 2010 – PPV – Ridgefield CT
Todd Rundgren recently announced that a PPV webcast will be available for the April 11th Ridgefield Playhouse gig. Since Rundgren’s current TR’s Johnson tour is primarily taking place on the eastern half of the U.S., it’s apparent that he wants to offer a chance for ALL of his fans to see the show.
The webcast is being done by the same production crew that did the previous AWATS PPVs back in September so we’re in good hands here. I enjoyed watching the Chicago AWATS shows via webcast so I’m definitely purchasing the April 11th video stream.
the $24.95 webcast ticket can be purchased via the TodoCast.tv website. They’re offering both 400k and 800k quality streams. in addition to the live simulcast, the video of the whole concert will be available for viewing anytime after the event for approximately one month.
Besides 12 new Robert Johnson covers, Rundgren has added a bunch of songs to the setlist that he hasn’t played in years (plus a couple he’s never performed live before).

some of the songs Rundgren is playing on this tour include: Bleeding, Kiddie Boy, Unloved Children, Mystified/Broke Down and Busted, Tiny Demons, Soul Brother, Open My Eyes, Boogies (Hamburger Hell) and Born to Synthesize.
